Verizon apologizes for internet outage
Verizon has apologized for a major internet outage that left millions of customers without service.
The outage came during the day on Friday and continued through Saturday.
It affected the country’s most popular mobile network, and resulted in outages for millions of consumers, including many from rural areas.
The company has apologized to customers, and said it will work to make the problem less severe.
Verizon says its customers can get back online in about 30 minutes.
The company is still working to restore the internet to its customers and to other Verizon customers.
