How to cancel your internet service and get free high-speed Internet
Verizon is launching a new internet box with a feature that lets you cancel your monthly bill.
The company’s website says the box will be available to consumers starting April 5.
The box, called the Verizon Ultra-low-income Internet Box, will be sold through Verizon’s online marketplace, but you can also purchase it directly from Verizon at $69.95.
The Ultra-Low-income box will include an IP-connected home network, Wi-Fi, and the ability to access Verizon’s internet service for free.
Verizon said in a press release that the Ultra-Lite-Internet Box will be free to use in households earning less than $75,000 per year.
Verizon’s Ultra-high-speed internet box, dubbed the Verizon Broadband Internet Box (above), will cost $69 for consumers who earn more than $200,000 and up to $99 for those earning more than that.
You’ll need a broadband Internet connection of at least 100 Mbps for the Ultrahigh-Speed Internet Box to work.
Verizon says that you can cancel your bill on the Ultralow-Internet box within 30 days of receiving it.
The new box is available in more than 80 countries.
Verizon launched its internet box in April, and now customers can cancel their internet service at no charge on the new box.
The internet box’s new features include an internet connection, an IP address that can be used to connect to Verizon’s network, and a voice and video chat feature that let you speak with your customers on the phone.
Verizon has previously launched the Ultra Low-income internet box for consumers earning less that $50,000 a year.
The ultra low-income web box also includes an IP connection, voice chat feature, and data limits for the internet connection.
Verizon is selling the Ultra Internet Box online at $199.99 and will start shipping it to consumers in early May.
The broadband internet box is priced at $99.95, but Verizon will also offer an introductory price of $59.95 to customers who sign up for a service with Verizon’s free tier.
