How to protect your privacy online using a VPN

Google says it’s removing the Google Cloud Platform app from the Google Play store in Canada because it violates its privacy policy.

Google says the app “could be used to download content that violates our Terms of Service or violates our Privacy Policy.”

The app “can be used by users to browse the web or access other services.”

Google says “we’ve taken this action in response to the recent release of a new version of the GoogleCloud Platform app that violates its Terms of Use.”

The new version allows users to “access third-party services without requiring their permission.”

Google said it’s working with regulators to make sure this does not happen again.

The app can be downloaded here.
